The Challenge: The 19 counties of the Mississippi Delta were rich in resources, existing industry and opportunity. But as individual entities, they knew they weren’t competing at their best, and sometimes against each other. We worked with the Delta Council to conceive and build a regional brand that combined and highlighted the entire area’s economic development potential. This new brand identity would be used as the identity for a new web presence, multi-year marketing strategy, and basis for targeted industrial and business recruitment.
Our Concept: We made personal visits to the area and saw for ourselves the strengths that the Mississippi Delta had to offer, and we recognized that the power of the region as a whole was greater than the sum of its parts. We created a brand identity to reflect the Delta region's strength and attitude, and built an Insyteful website based on the new brand identity, the Core4 elements for the region, along with print and promotional collateral to introduce and reinforce the new regional brand.
The Result: An identity of unity and community has been established with a great sense of pride. As one Delta business professional put it, "This is amazing. I see Delta Strong on every car that drives down the road, in every newspaper I read, even on Archie Manning's shirt!" After launch of the digital assets, the region has entered the second phase of the multi-year, project- targeted recruitment meetings with qualified prospects around the US.
