Lawrence County Magazine

The Challenge

The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce wanted a long-form magazine-style publication that would boost tourism, provide economic development information, and promote local business. The magazine, which would be distributed by mail, local places of business, and rest stops/tourist information kiosks, would be funded in part by ad sales revenue.

Our Concept

Working in partnership with a local editor, we provided conceptual magazine design, complete layout services, and print coordination with a national print/bindery with the ability to produce 100-page publications with perfect binding at scale.

To assist the local staff with ad sales, we also designed and produced the publication ad sales kit, along with digital support collateral.

The Result

The biannual publication reached a total distribution of tens of thousands of copies locally, regionally, and nationally to the varied interested audiences, and became a central tool for business, industry, and tourism development.
